Quotes for Imported Soybeans at Shandong Ports on October 27th
Cofeed News: today(on October 27th), Qingdao port in Shandong offers 3,485 yuan/tonne（$524）for PNW soybeans in bulk, and Dongjiakou port offers 3,510 yuan/tonne ($528) for Gulf soybeans in bulk, both keeping flat over yesterday. Prices for imported and distributed soybeans keep firm as domestic soybeans keep growing in market due to good quality of northeastern soybeans in China and larger imported soybeans are going to arrive later amid insufficient surpluses for the present at ports and strong sentiments of traders to hold out for high prices. Additionally, market insiders are not optimistic about trades in the afternoon. Overall, imported soybeans at ports may remain stable with good momentum for growth in a short run till the end of supply tension.
