China’s imports of corn in October 2017 plunge by 70.6%
According to China’s General Administration of Customs, China's corn imports in October are 73,481.94 tonnes, down 70.6% with a reduction of 176,462.316 tonnes against September’s 249,944.256 tonnes. However, imports increase by 4 times(59,018.122 tonnes on the increase) from 14,463.818 tonnes attained in October 2016. Overall, China has imported 2,349,541.079 tonnes of corn from January to October in 2017, but still 644,367.227 tonnes lower than 2,993,908.306 tonnes attained over the same period last year by 21.52%.
