The operating rate in coastal oil mills this week (week 51 in 2017, Dec. 16th-Dec. 22nd) rise sharply, where rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey increases to 76,050 tonnes, 31.01% or 18,000 tonnes higher than 58,050 tonnes attained last week. Meantime the operating rate this week (capacity utilization) is lifted to 15.18% from 11.59% last week, among which operating rate of domestic rapeseed is seen 4.1% higher than last week and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing plants rises to 31.48% from 22.76% a week before. Generally, as some oil mills resume operation, rapeseed crush next week may be stabilized at around 76,000 tonnes, and be likely to reach a relatively high level of 96,000 tonnes in the week after next.
