China Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 52, 2017)
The operating rate in coastal oil mills this week (week 52 in 2017, Dec. 23rd-Dec. 29th) rises further, where rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey increases to 90,650 tonnes, 19.2% or 14,600 tonnes higher than 76,050 tonnes attained last week. Meantime the operating rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) is lifted to 18.09% from 15.18% last week, among which operating rate of domestic rapeseed is seen falling to 3.59% from 4.1% last week and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing plants rises to 39.23% from 31.48% a week before. Generally, with resumed operation in some oil mills and assured supply at ports, rapeseed crush next week may hit 91,000 tonnes, and be likely to reach a relatively high level of 103,000 tonnes in the week after next.
