China's Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 1, 2018)
The operating rate in coastal oil mills this week (week 1 in 2018, Dec. 30th-Jan. 5th) rises further, where rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey increases to 103,650 tonnes, 14.34% or 13,000 tonnes higher than 90,650 tonnes attained last week. Meantime the operating rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) is further increased to 20.69% from 18.09% last week, among which operating rate of domestic rapeseed is seen stabilized at 3.59% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing plants rises to 45.52% from 39.23% a week before. Generally, with deficient supply and bloated inventories, rapeseed crush next week may be downsized to 87,000 tonnes, but probably regain to a relatively high level of 102,000 tonnes in the week after next.
