China’s import of soybean meal in November 2017
Cofeed News: according to General Administration of Customs, China's soybean meal imports in November total 3,860 tonnes, up 123.63% from last month and surprisingly up 328.89% the same period last year. Details for China’s imports of soybean meal in November: 2,400 tonnes from Denmark, up 166.67% year on year, and 1,460 yuan/tonne from Korea, no comparable data for the same period last year.
Overall, imports of soybean meal in the first 11 months in 2017 total 59,495 tonnes, 302.82% higher than the corresponding period a year earlier. Details in November are shown as follows: 41,377 tonnes from India, impressively up 1032.36% year on year; 10,850 tonnes from Denmark, up 9.6% year on year; 6,760 tonnes from Korea, surprisingly up 188990.91%. Moreover, soybean meal in November prices at USD $768.81 per tonne on average, a rise of USD $89.79 per tonne compared with USD $679.02 in October 2017.
