China's Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 2, 2018)
The operating rate in coastal oil mills this week (week 2 in 2018, Jan. 6th-Jan. 12th) is seen declining slightly for overflowing stocks in some oil mills, where rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey decreases to 94,650 tonnes from 103,650 tonnes attained last week, 8.68% or 9,000 tonnes lower. Meantime the operating rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) is lessened to 18.89% from 20.69% last week, among which operating rate of domestic rapeseed is stabilized at 3.59% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing plants falls to 41.16% from 45.52% a week before. Generally, with deficient supply and bloated inventories, rapeseed crush next week may be shriveled to 74,000 tonnes, but probably reach a relatively high level of 95,000 tonnes in the week after next.
