China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 3, 2018)
The operating rate in coastal oil mills this week (week 3 in 2018, Jan. 13th-Jan. 19th) is plunging further for overflowing stocks in some oil mills, where rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey decreases to 65,480 tonnes from 94,650 tonnes attained last week, 30.82% or 29,170 tonnes lower. Meantime the operating rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) is lessened to 13.07% from 18.89% last week, among which operating rate of domestic rapeseed is down to 2.78% from 3.59% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing plants falls to 28.09% from 41.16% a week before. Generally, rapeseed crush next week is likely to reach 78,000 tonnes, but be down to 57,000 tonnes in the week after next in light of deficient rapeseed supplies
