China’s import of barley in December 2017
According to customs data, December imports of barley continued to slide following March’s decline, in detail, imports were downsized to 581,279.844 tonnes by 9.40% from 641,525.638 tonnes in November with a reduction of 60,245.794 tonnes, and notably, December imports were obviously lower than the average import of 738,625.93 tonnes in year 2017. Generally, imports in year 2017 totaled 8,863,511.162 tonnes, a rise of 3,858,394.827 tonnes or 77.09% higher compared with 5,005,116.335 tonnes the same period last year.
