China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 11, 2018)
The operating rate is substantially lifted in coastal oil mills this week (week 11 of 2018, Mar. 10th- 16th). Rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey increases to 129,150 tonnes from 87,590 tonnes attained in last week by 47.4% or 41,560 tonnes higher. Meantime the operating rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) is raised to 25.78% from 17.48% on the week, among which operating rate of domestic rapeseed stands at 1.17% from 0.96% on the week and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing plants rises from 41.16% to 61.02%. Generally, rapeseed crush will still be around 90,000 tonnes in light of lifted operating rate in next two weeks.
