China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 13, 2018)
The operating rate is further lowered in coastal oil mills this week (week 13 of 2018, Mar. 24th- 30th). Rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey decreases to 80,150 tonnes from 117,150 tonnes attained in last week by 31.58% or 37,000 tonnes lower. Meantime the operating rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) is down at 16% from 23.38% last week, among which the operating rate of domestic rapeseed stands at 1.17% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing plants drops from 55.21% to 37.29%. Generally, rapeseed crush will probably fall to 71,000 tonnes next week owing to a complete machine overhaul in more and more oil mills, nevertheless, its crush in the week after next is expected to rise, about 94,000 tonnes in volumes.
