China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 15, 2018)
The operation rate of rapeseed processing drops further in coastal oil mills this week (week 15 of 2018, Apr. 7th- 13th). Rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey generally plunges to 50,150 tonnes from 69,150 tonnes attained in last week by 27.48% or 19,000 tonnes lower. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) comes into at 10.01%, falling from 13.8% last week, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed is pegged at 1.17% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills drops from 31.96% to 22.76%. Generally, rapeseed crush may probably recover to 77,000 tonnes and 91,000 tonnes or so owing to a basically resumed operation rate in the following two weeks.
