China’s import of palm oil in March 2018
According to customs data, March imports of palm oil were around 479,718 tonnes, basically up 106,376 tonnes by 28.5% from 373,342 tonnes attained in February. And as opposed to 377,455 tonnes the same month a year ago, it is still up 27.1% and 102,263 tonnes above. To be specific, China imported 326,506.519 tonnes of 24-degree palm oil, a rise of 86,021.432 tonnes from 240,485.087 tonnes attained in February, and 151,491.844 tonnes of 44-degree palm oil with a growth of 19,122.098 tonnes when compared with February’s 132,369.746 tonnes.
Details for China’s imports of palm oil in March: 347,390 tonnes from Indonesia, up 89,206 tonnes by 34.6% from February’s 258,184 tonnes, and also up 90,516 tonnes by 35.2% from 256,874 tonnes on a year-on-year basis; about 132,196 tonnes from Malaysia, increasing by 14.9% or 115,033 tonnes above from 115,033 tonnes last month, and generally up 11,670 tonnes by 9.7% from 120,526 tonnes year on year; about 131 tonnes from Thailand and 1 tonne from Germany.
