The operation rate of rapeseed processing is improved further in coastal oil mills this week (week 17 of 2018, Apr. 21st- 27th). Rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey increases from 72,150 tonnes to 95,150 tonnes on the week, generally up 23,000 tonnes by 31.9%. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) comes into at 18.99% from 14.4% last week, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed still stays at 1.17% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills rises to 44.55% from 33.41% last week. Frankly speaking, rapeseed crush may probably be downsized to 86,000 tonnes and 84,000 tonnes or so in the following two weeks due to a machine overhaul in some mills.
