The operation rate of rapeseed processing further ratchet up in coastal oil mills this week (week 18 of 2018, Apr. 28tht- May 4th). Rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey increases to 96,150 tonnes from 95,150 tonnes on the week, generally up 1,000 tonnes by 1.05%. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) comes into at 19.19% from 18.99% last week, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed still stays at 1.17% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills increases to 45.04% from 44.55% last week. Frankly speaking, rapeseed crush may probably be reduced to 90,000 tonnes or so in the following two weeks due to a machine overhaul in some mills.
