The operation rate of rapeseed processing continues to plunge in coastal oil mills this week (week 20 of 2018, May.12th- 18th). Rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey plunges to 65,150 tonnes from 73,150 tonnes last week, down 8,000 tonnes by 10.94%. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) comes into at 13% from 14.6% last week, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed still stays at 1.17% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills decreases from 33.9% to 30.02% this week. On the point, rapeseed crush in the following two weeks may recover to 10,000 tonnes or so if operation is resumed in some mills.
