The operation rate of rapeseed processing is seen rising steeply in coastal oil mills this week (week 21 of 2018, May.19th- 25th) after recovered operation one after another. Rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey jumps from 65,150 tonnes last week to 102,150 tonnes on the week, generally up 37,000 tonnes by 56.79%. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) comes into at 20.39% from 13% last week, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed still stays at 1.17% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills increases to 47.94% from 30.02% last week. In general, rapeseed crush is probably downsized to 88,000 tonnes due to idle pants in some rapeseed-bloated mills, but 98,000 tonnes in the week after next provided if operation resumes.
