Given operation rate of rapeseed processing drops slightly in coastal oil mills this week (week 22 of 2018, May.26th- June 1st), rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey plunges to 94,150 tonnes from 102,150 tonnes last week, down 8,000 tonnes by 7.83%. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) is pegged at 18.79% vis-a-vis 20.39% last week, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed still stays at 1.17% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills declines to 44.07% from 47.94% last week. Frankly speaking, with ongoing idle pants in some rapeseed-bloated mills, rapeseed crush probably slips to 84,000 tonnes, but climbs to 100,000 tonnes in the week after next provided if operation resumes.
