China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 23, 2018)
Given operation rate of rapeseed processing drops slightly in coastal oil mills this week (week 23 of 2018, June 2nd- 8th), rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey plunges from 94,150 tonnes last week to 84,740 tonnes, generally down 9,410 tonnes by 9.9%. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) is pegged at 16.91% vis-a-vis 18.79% last week, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed comes into at 2.14% as compered to 1.17% attained last week and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills declines to 38.26% from 44.07% last week. Frankly speaking, with resumed operation, rapeseed crush in the following week is estimated to be around 0.1 Mln or 0.11 Mln tonnes.
