The operation rate of rapeseed processing remains high this week (week 25 of 2018, June 16th- 22nd) though still a tad lower. Therefore, rapeseed crush of 101 oil mills counted in the national survey is down to 110,740 tonnes by 0.89% from 111,740 tonnes last week, about 1,000 tonnes below by comparison. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush this week (capacity utilization) also declines to 22.1% from 22.3% last week, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed still stays at 2.14% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills drop to 50.36% from 51.33% last week. In general, rapeseed crush is probably shriveled to 76,000 tonnes owing to bloated rapeseed meal in some mills and crushers’ preference for soybean crushing, but up to 94,000 tonnes in the week after next provided if operation resumes.
