A spike in operation rate continues this week in coastal mills, as thus, rapeseed crush of 101 mills counted in the national survey in week 37 (Sept. 8th- 14th) grows to 122,830 tonnes from 105,830 tonnes last week, up 17,000 tonnes by 16.06%. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush (capacity utilization) this week also rises to 24.52% from 21.12%, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed still settles at 1.8% and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills otherwise climbs from 48.91% to 57.14%. Generally speaking, rapeseed crush will further rise to 124,000 tonnes next week, but decrease to 90,000 tonnes in the week after next if some mills suspend operation.
