Cottonseed: This week, operation rate in cottonseed oil mills goes up slightly, and new cottonseed supply is also increasing gradually with the marketing of new seed cotton. So cottonseed stock this week sees an increase. Until this Friday, 62 national oil mills have 16,950 tonnes of cottonseed in stock, up 2,550 tonnes from last week’s 16,950 tonnes by 17.71%; and it also sees 2,130 tonnes above last year’s 14,820 tonnes of the corresponding period by 14.37%.

Cottonseed oil: This week, cottonseed oil output is relatively limited, due to the low operation rate in cottonseed oil mills (despite some rises this week), especially when some oil mills still have preliminary contracts unfinished, so cottonseed oil stock goes down. Until this Friday, 62 national oil mills have 3,310 tonnes of cottonseed oil in stock, down 520 tonnes from last week’s 3,830 tonnes by 13.58%; and it also sees 5,020 tonnes below last year’s 8,330 tonnes of the corresponding period by 60.26%.

Cottonseed meal: This week, the output of cottonseed meal is limited by the low operation rate in cottonseed oil mills (despite some rises this week), especially amid increasing consumption on poultry products and fair demands from aquaculture. Besides, downstream companies are relatively active in taking delivery as the cottonseed price still edges up in fluctuations before new cottonseed enters into market, and most oil mills still have contracts in hand. Therefore, cottonseed meal stock declines this week. Until this Friday, cottonseed meal stock in 62 national oil mills is 460 tonnes, down 20 tonnes from last week’s 480 tonnes by 4.17%; and it also falls 2,340 tonnes from last year’s 2,800 tonnes during the same period by 83.57%.
