Operation rate this week faces a steep decline in coastal mills, therefore rapeseed crush of 101 mills counted in the national survey in week 38 (Sept. 15th- 21st) also sees a reduction, down to 109,990 tonnes from 122,830 tonnes last week and about 12,840 tonnes and 10.5% less by comparison. Meantime the operation rate for rapeseed crush (capacity utilization) this week also drops to 21.95% from 24.52%, among which the operation rate of domestic rapeseed comes down to 1.49% from 1.8% last week and that of imported rapeseed in coastal processing mills otherwise is down to 51.33% from 57.14% last week. Generally speaking, rapeseed crush will further increase to 112,000 tonnes next week after resumed operation in mills, but then decrease to 104,000 tonnes in the week after next factored in deficient rapeseed sources in some mills.
