Cottonseed: Cottonseed shows rises in inventory this week due to the pickup of operation rate in cottonseed mills and gradual purchase the new cottonseed by Xinjiang oil mills. Until this Friday, 62 national oil mills have 50,200 tonnes of cottonseed in stock, up 6,700 tonnes from last week’s 43,500 tonnes by 15.40%; and it also sees 3,600 tonnes above last year’s 46,600 tonnes of the corresponding period by 7.73%.
Cottonseed oil: Cottonseed oil stock is on the increase this week, mainly due to a growing output under rising operation rate in cottonseed oil mills, but the increment is limited by its small output under the overall low operation rate. By this Friday, 62 national oil mills have 3970 tonnes of cottonseed oil in stock, up 70 tonnes from last week’s 3,900 tonnes by 1.79%; but it sees a 5,470 tonnes below last year’s 9,440 tonnes of the corresponding period by 57.95%.
Cottonseed meal: Cottonseed meal sees a slight decrease this week, since some oil mills still hold some outstanding contracts and downstream companies still have an acceptable demand amid the downward trend, and the operation rate remains low despite a small pickup. Until this Friday, cottonseed meal stock in 62 national oil mills is 360 tonnes, down 20 tonnes from last week’s 380 tonnes by 5.26%; and it also falls 2,040 tonnes from last year’s 2,400 tonnes during the same period by 85%.
