This week (6th-12th Oct), operation rate in oil mills in coastal areas continues to drop. The rapeseed crush volume in 101 domestic oil mills surveyed by Cofeed has dwindled to 74,510 tonnes, down 34,480 tonnes by 31.6% from 108,990 tonnes last week. The operation rate (capability utilization) us 14.87% this week, of which it is 2.42% for domestic rapeseed, compared to 21.75% and 1.49% last week respectively; and the operation rate for imported rapeseed in coastal areas is 32.93%, compared to 50.85% last week. Due to the arrival of rapeseed at port, crush volume will rise back to 89,000 tonnes next week (Week 42) and to 110,000 tonnes in Week 43.
