China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 42, 2018)
This week (13th-19th, Oct), operation rate in oil mills in coastal areas picks up slightly. The rapeseed crush volume in 101 domestic oil mills surveyed by Cofeed has increased to 76,510 tonnes, up 2,000 tonnes by 2.68% from 74,510 tonnes last week. Compared to 14.87% last week, the operation rate (capacity utilization) is 15.27% this week, where it is 2.42% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 33.9% for imported rapeseed in coastal areas against 32.93% last week. Due to the arrival of rapeseed at port, crush volume will rise back to 93,000 tonnes next week (Week 43) and to 98,000 tonnes in Week 44.
