China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 43, 2018)
This week (Oct 20th-26th), as operation rate in coastal refineries picks up substantially, rapeseed crush volume in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed has increased to 114,510 tonnes, up 38,000 tonnes by 49.7% from 76,510 tonnes last week. Compared to 15.27% last week, operation rate (capacity utilization) is 22.86% this week, where it remains unchanged at 2.42% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 52.3% for imported rapeseed in coastal areas, as against 33.9% last week. The crush volume will dwindle to 100,000 tonnes for the downtime in some mills in next two weeks.
