China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 45, 2018)
This week (Nov 3-9th), as operation rate in coastal refineries goes up slightly, rapeseed crush volume in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed has increased to 114,560 tonnes (imported rapeseed 107,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 7,650 tonnes), up 4,050 tonnes by 3.7% from 110,510 tonnes last week. Compared to 22.06% last week, operation rate (capacity utilization) is 22.87% this week, where it is 2.81% for domestic rapeseed, against 2.42% last week; and it is 51.82% for imported rapeseed in coastal areas, as against 50.36% last week. As some oil mills will start double production lines and others will resume for rapeseed arrivals at port in the next two weeks, the crush volume will climb back to 133,000 tonnes next week (week 46) and to 142,000 tonnes in week 47.
