China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 46, 2018)
This week (Nov. 10th-16th), as operation rate in coastal oil mills has dropped fractionally, rapeseed crush volume in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed has decreased to 109,560 tonnes (imported rapeseed 102,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 7,560 tonnes), down 5,000 tonnes by 4.36% from 114,560 tonnes last week. The operation rate (capability utilization) for rapeseed is 21.87% this week as against 22.87% last week, of which it remains stable at 2.81% for domestic rapeseed; and it is 49.39% for imported rapeseed in coastal areas versus 51.82% last week. The crush volume will rise back to 113,000 tonnes amid operation pickups in some oil mills next week (week 47), but will fall back again to 106,000 tonnes due to the halt in some mills in week 48.
