China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 50, 2018)
This week (Dec. 8th-14th), as operation rate has posted a continued pickup in coastal mills,?rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed has further increased to 125,650 tonnes (imported rapeseed 122,500 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 3,150 tonnes), up 24,500 tonnes by 24.2% from 101,150 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) has risen to 25.08% from 20.99% last week for rapeseed crush, of which it is unchanged at 1.17% for domestic rapeseed; and it has also increased to 59.32% from 47.46% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. Total crush volume will drop slightly to 111,000 tonnes amid downtime in several mills in the next two week, but it will still remain at a high level.
