This week (Dec. 15th-21st), due to a slight drop in operation rate among coastal mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed has declined to 104,150 tonnes (imported rapeseed 101,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 3,150 tonnes), down 21,500 tonnes by 17.1% from 125,650 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) has dropped to 20.79% from 25.08% last week for rapeseed crush, of which it is unchanged at 1.17% for domestic rapeseed; and it has also fallen to 48.91% from 59.32% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. Some oil mills are going to resume double production lines, so total crush volume will see slight rallies to 118,000 tonnes next week (week 52) and to 123,000 tonnes in week 1, 2019. Generally, the rapeseed crush will still maintain at a high level.
