China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 52, 2018)
This week (Dec. 22nd-28th), due to a slight rise in operation rate among coastal mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed has amounted to 111,150 tonnes (imported rapeseed 108,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 3,150 tonnes), up 7,000 tonnes by 6.72% from 104,150 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) has come up to 22.18% from 20.79% last week for rapeseed crush, of which it is unchanged at 1.17% for domestic rapeseed; and it has also risen to 52.3% from 48.91% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. Total crush volume will go up slightly to 116,000 tonnes next week with the production recovery in several oil mills, but it will total crush volume will drop to 102,000 tonnes as some oil mills will just open one single production line in week 2, 2019. Generally, the rapeseed crush will still maintain at a high level.
