China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 7, 2019)
As operation rate has picked up fractionally in coastal oil mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (Feb. 9th-15th) has increased to 19,000 tonnes (imported rapeseed 19,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 0 tonnes), up 12000 tonnes by 171.43% from 7,000 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, operation rate (capability utilization) has gone up to 5.19% from 1.39% last week, of which it has been 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it has also picked up to 9.2% from 3.39% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. Amid operation pickups, rapeseed crush will rise back to 76,000 tonnes next week and to 94,000 tonnes in week 9.
