China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 8, 2019)
As operation rate has picked up drastically in coastal oil mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (Feb. 16th-22nd) has increased to 80,170 tonnes (imported rapeseed 80,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 170 tonnes), up 61,170 tonnes by 321.9% from 19,000 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, operation rate (capability utilization) has gone up to 16% from 5.19% last week, of which it is 0.06% for domestic rapeseed; and it has also picked up to 38.74% from 9.2% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. Amid operation pickups, rapeseed crush will rise back to 90,000 tonnes next week and to 92,000 tonnes in week 10.
