As operation rate has further picked up in coastal oil mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (Feb. 22ed- Mar. 1st) has increased to 113,490 tonnes (imported rapeseed 113,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 490 tonnes), up 33,320 tonnes or 41.6% from 80,170 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, operation rate (capability utilization) has gone up to 22.65% from 16% last week, of which it has been 0.18% for domestic rapeseed with 0.06% last week; and it has also picked up to 54.72% from 38.74% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. For the machine halt of some mills in week 10, rapeseed crush will fall to 100,000 tonnes and for the supply shortage of some mills in week 11, crush will fall to 76,000 tonnes in week 12, while it’s still at high level.
