China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 13, 2019)
Amid recovery in operation rate in coastal oil mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (Mar. 23rd-29th) has increased to 61,310 tonnes (imported rapeseed 56,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 5,310 tonnes), an increment of 27,800 tonnes by 82.96% from 33,510 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, operation rate (capability utilization) has gone up to 12.24% from 6.69% last week, of which it has fallen to 1.98% from 2.42% last week for domestic rapeseed; and it has also rallied steeply to 27.12% from 13.08% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. Rapeseed crush will decline to 50,000 tonnes next week for swelling rapeseed meal inventories and scheduled downtime, and it will climb slighly higher to 51,000 tonnes the following week.
