China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 14, 2019)
Amid a small decline in operation rate in coastal oil mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (Mar. 30th-Apr. 5th) has decreased to 49,810 tonnes (imported rapeseed 47,500 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 2,310 tonnes), down 11,500 tonnes by 18.76% from 61,310 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, operation rate (capability utilization) has gone down to 9.94% from 12.24% last week, of which it remains at 1.98% for domestic rapeseed; and it has also declined to 23% from 27.12% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. As some rapeseed cargoes are allowed to go processed, rapeseed crush will increase to 50,000 tonnes next week and to 73,000 tonnes the following week.
