China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 15, 2019)
Amid a further decline in operation rate in coastal oil mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (Apr. 6th-12th) has decreased to 46,310 tonnes (imported rapeseed 44,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 2,310 tonnes), down 3,500 tonnes by 7.03% from 49,810 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, operation rate (capability utilization) has remained unchanged at 9.94%, of which it is 1.98% for domestic rapeseed; but it has declined to 21.31% from 23% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. As some oil mills will recover their production, rapeseed crush will increase to 70,000 tonnes next week and to 72,000 tonnes the following week.
