With a further pickup in utilization rate, soybean crush this week (Apr. 13th-19th) totals 1,822,350 tonnes (meal 1,439,656 tonnes and oil 346,246 tonnes), an increment of 133,100 tonnes by 7.87% from 1,689,250 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, utilization rate (capacity utilization) has climbed higher by 3.76 percentage points to 51.41% from 47.65% last week. Soybean crush is predicted to fall to 1.72 Mln tonnes next week for machine maintenance and supply disruptions but will rise to 1.82 Mln tonnes the following week .
Soybean crush volume will total 7,470,000 tonnes in April by current utilization rate, above 7,020,000 tonnes last month and 7,170,000 tonnes of the same period of last year.
As of this week, soybean crush nationwide totals 45,688,335 tonnes, down 3,532,613 tonnes by 7.17% from 49,220,948 tonnes of the same period last year. In 2019 (as from Jan. 1st, 2019), national soybean crush amounts to?22,536,935 tonnes, down 2,283,293 tonnes by 9.19% from 24,820,228 tonnes of the corresponding period in 2018.
