China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 20, 2019)
Amid a sharp rally in utilization rate, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (May 11th-17th) has soared to 69,610 tonnes (imported rapeseed 69,400 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 210 tonnes), up 41,400 tonnes by 146.76% from 28,210 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, utilization rate (capability utilization) has increased to 13.89% from 5.63%, of which it has been 0.08% for domestic rapeseed; and it has picked up to 33.61% from 13.56% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. As several mills will resume their operation, rapeseed crush will increase to 70,000 tonnes and 82,000 tonnes in the next two weeks.
