China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 21, 2019)
Amid another pickup in utilization rate in coastal mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (May 18th-24th) has increased to 91,210 tonnes (imported rapeseed 91,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 210 tonnes), up 21,600 tonnes by 31.03%% from 69,610 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, utilization rate (capability utilization) has increased to 18.2% from 13.89%, of which it has been 0.08% for domestic rapeseed; and it has picked up to 44.07% from 33.61% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. The crush will rise to 98,000 tonnes amid a utilization pickup next week, and fall to 60,000 tonnes for a halt.
