China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 22, 2019)
Amid a slight decline in utilization rate in coastal mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (May 25th-31st) has decreased to 85,210 tonnes (imported rapeseed 85,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 210 tonnes), down 6,000 tonnes by 6.58%% from 91,210 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, utilization rate (capability utilization) has fallen to 17.01% from 18.2%, of which it has been 0.08% for domestic rapeseed; and it has dropped to 41.16% from 44.07% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. The crush will see a sharp decline to 24,000 tonnes on downtime next week, and return to 54,000 tonnes the following week.
