  I. Rapeseed: stock and port arrival

This week (as of June 7th), rapeseed inventory totals 510,000 tonnes in domestic coastal areas, a reduction of 43,000 tonnes by 7.78% from 553,000 tonnes last week and by 2.41% from 498,000 tonnes of the same period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian has declined by 9.2% to 365,000 tonnes from 402,000 tonnes last week and by 53.71% from 785,500 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. According to Cofeed, June and July will each see only one cargo of rapeseed amid blocked import by tensions between China and Canada. And importers are expected to buy new cargoes only after a thaw between these two countries which depends largely on a detente between China and the United States whose relationship will get some updates at least until late June when the two presidents are expected to meet at the G20 summit.
