China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 24, 2019)
Amid a further decline in utilization rate in coastal mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (June 8th-14th) has decreased to 38,210 tonnes (imported rapeseed 38,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 210 tonnes), down 9,000 tonnes by 19.07% from 47,210 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, utilization rate (capability utilization) has fallen to 7.63% from 9.42%, of which it has been 0.08% for domestic rapeseed; and it has dropped to 18.4% from 22.76% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. The crush will fall further to 23,000 and 20,000 tonnes on downtime for the next two weeks.
