China’s Rapeseed Crush Weekly (Week 27, 2019)
Amid a sharp rise in utilization rate in coastal mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (June 29th-July 5th) has increased to 68,210 tonnes (imported rapeseed 64,500 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 3,710 tonnes), up 39,200 tonnes by 135.13% from 29,010 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, utilization rate (capability utilization) has increased to 13.61% from 5.79% last week, of which it has been 1.38% against 0.93% last week for domestic rapeseed; and it has increased to 31.23% from 13.32% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. For rapeseed shortage in some mills, the crush will decline to 31,000 tonnes next week and 29,000 tonnes the following week. Overall, it is still at low level.
