Amid a sharp decline in utilization rate in coastal mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (July 6th-12th) has fallen to 40,710 tonnes (imported rapeseed 38,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 2,710 tonnes), down 27,500 tonnes by 40.32% from 68,210 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, utilization rate (capability utilization) has decreased to 8.13% from 13.61% last week, of which it has been 1.01% against 1.38% last week for domestic rapeseed; and it has dropped to 18.4% from 31.23% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. For rapeseed shortage in some mills, the crush will decline to 40,000 tonnes next week and 31,000 tonnes the following week. Overall, it is still at low level.
