Weekly Hog Price and Breeding Margins in China（Week 29, 2019）
I. Hog Price
This week (July 15th-19th), hog price nationwide has extended the upward trend last week. As of this Friday, the average price index is 19.42 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.21 yuan/kg by 1.09% from last Friday and an increase of 6.83 yuan/kg by 54.25% from 12.59 yuan/kg in the corresponding period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
The breeding margins of hog this week has seen a growth on higher hog prices, in spite of a slight increase in the feed cost. The average profit of per pig breeding is 466.03 yuan this week, up by 1.25% from 460.27 yuan last week and up by 4175.5% from 10.9 yuan of the same period last year.
