With a sharp rise in utilization rate among coastal mills, rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed this week (Jul. 27th-Aug. 2nd) has increased to 65,310 tonnes (imported rapeseed 63,000 tonnes and domestic rapeseed 2,310 tonnes), up 12,000 tonnes by 22.51% from 53,310 tonnes last week. Meanwhile, the utilization rate (capability utilization) has climbed higher to 13.04% from 10.64% last week, of which it remains at 0.86% for domestic rapeseed; and it has gone up to 30.51% from 24.7% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. The crush will stay at 60,000 tonnes next week and go higher to 80,000 tonnes the following week as some mills resume their production.
