I. Corn consumption

 

    On the week as of August 23rd, corn consumption of 135 further processing enterprises surveyed by Cofeed totals 992,975 tonnes, up 73,077 tonnes by 7.94% from 919,898 tonnes last week. Among them, the consumption of 82 starch enterprises is 617280 tonnes, a month-on-month increase of 3.00%; the consumption of 42 alcohol enterprises is 297,695 tonnes, a month-on-month increase of 30.16%; and the consumption of 11 additive enterprises is 78000 tonnes, a month-month decline of 15.11%.

    Of all 135 further processing enterprises, 32 Shandong enterprises have consumed 276,541 tonnes, accounting for 28%, and then 22 Heilongjiang enterprises have consumed 197,434 tonnes and 15 Jilin enterprises have consumed 204,025 tonnes. For more details:
