This week (Aug 30th-Sept 6th), hog price nationwide keeps the upward trend. As of this Friday, the average price index is 28.30 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.31 yuan/kg or 1.11% from 27.99 yuan/kg last Friday and an increase of 14.08 yuan/kg or 99.02% from 14.22 yuan/kg the corresponding period last year.

The average profit per pig breeding is 1278.47 yuan this week, down by 3.1% from 1319.84 yuan last week and up by 575.0% or 1089.07 yuan from 189.4 yuan of the same period last year.
